Terms of Use

1. The service

Best.Dentist is a directory and enquiry service operated by ADPLUS MEDIA INC. We are not a dental practice, we do not provide dental or medical advice, and sending an enquiry is not booking an appointment. Treatment decisions are made between you and the practice you choose.

2. Listings

Listing information comes from public records (state dental board licence records) and practices' own published information, with sources and capture dates shown on each profile. We work to keep it accurate; practices can claim a listing to correct and complete it. Facts are compiled, not copied marketing material.

3. How ordering works

Listings are ordered by the method published at How We Rank, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. Sponsored (Featured) placements are always labelled; payment does not affect the ordinary order, a rating, or a review. "Best.Dentist" is our brand name only — see About the name.

4. Enquiries

Enquiries are free for patients, always. What you send goes to the practice you choose; with your separate permission, if they don't respond it may be offered to one backup practice in the same city, one at a time. We do not sell enquiries at auction and do not send them to practices you didn't agree to. Practices may pay us for advertising and, in some states, a flat fee for enquiry handling — that never affects what you pay or whether your enquiry is sent.

Enquiries are not for emergencies. If you have a dental emergency, contact a practice or urgent care directly.

5. Reviews

Reviews are governed by the Review Policy, incorporated by reference. By submitting a review you confirm it describes your own experience as a patient of the practice.

6. For practices (summary — the signed partner agreement governs)

Claim/new-practice setup is $299 one-time where charged. Featured placement is $799/year per location, labelled Sponsored. Lead packs are $500 prepaid and credits never expire. Per-enquiry fees — offered only in states where our state review allows them — are flat fees for advertising and enquiry-handling services at fair market value, set in advance (general $45, cosmetic $65, implants/Invisalign/orthodontics $95), never a percentage of treatment value and never contingent on booking, attendance or treatment. Credits are applied back for spam, duplicate or wrong-city enquiries per the published rules. Patients whose care is covered by federal health care programmes (Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP) are excluded from paid enquiry routing entirely: their enquiries are not delivered to a practice and are never billed, and the patient is directed to contact the practice directly.

7. Acceptable use

No scraping for republication of reviews; no false reviews; no submissions on behalf of another person without their consent. You must be 18 or older to submit an enquiry or a review (a parent or guardian may enquire about their own child's care).

8. Liability

The service is provided "as is". We are not responsible for the care a practice provides, for a practice's fees changing, or for a practice's decision to accept or decline an enquiry. Nothing in these terms limits a right you have under your state's law. Governing law and venue are as set out in the version of these terms published at launch following legal review.
