Best.Dentist is an independent directory and enquiry service that helps people in the United States compare dental practices — and helps practices meet patients who are actively looking for their services. What we are — and what we are not

We are not a dental practice. We do not provide dental or medical services, diagnoses or advice, and we never present ourselves as the practice you will visit. Treatment is provided by the independent practices listed on this site. When you send an enquiry, we pass it — with your consent — to one matched practice in your city, and that practice contacts you directly.

How listings are built

Every listing is created from public records and the practice's own public information: its name, address, services and published fees, taken from its own website, plus the licence record of the dentist in charge, checked against the state dental board. At launch the directory lists 65 practices in 13 cities, with 259 published fees collected. Practices can claim their profile for free to correct or expand it, and owners can ask us to remove a listing.

How we make money

Patients use Best.Dentist for free. Practices can pay for a Featured placement ($799/year, always labelled "Sponsored"), for enquiries delivered to them (prepaid lead packs, in states where per-enquiry fees are permitted), or — on pages with proven traffic — to sponsor a service in their city. Beyond clearly labelled Featured placements, listing order is never sold — no practice can pay to move up the ordinary list. See How We Rank.

Reviews

Reviews are submitted by patients through the form on each practice's profile, and every review is moderated by a person before it appears, under our Review Policy. We never buy reviews, never let practices write their own, and never copy them from other sites. Where a practice has no reviews yet, its page says exactly that.

Fees

Fees shown are as published by each practice on its own website, with the source and collection date noted. They are a comparison aid, not a quote — the practice confirms its final fee before treatment.

"Best.Dentist" is our brand name, not a claim about any dentist — see About the name.
